Can one ever have too many black bags? I think I've proven (at least to myself) that the answer is no. In fact, I have to actively stop myself from buying black bags and instead opt for a neutral tone, a brown, a pop of red, something - anything - just to add some variety to my collection.
The truth is, black will always be my go-to. It's the easiest way to have an effortlessly pulled together outfit, and as an added bonus, it saves you time getting ready. Neutral color palettes and capsule wardrobes are all the rage these days, but what's perfect about that is it will never go out of style. I have one red bag, a classic YSL belle de jour for that occasional pop of color, and a handful of brown/beige bags for when an outfit calls for lighter accessories.
